Hello
azKigo is a one-person studio. You talk to the person who designs it and the person who builds it, because they're the same person.
I started out building GDL Hub — a full platform, from the data model up to the interface — and somewhere in the middle of it the work stopped feeling like a project and started feeling like a craft.
The name azKigo came from a gamertag — az for my initials, kigo borrowed from Japanese poetry: the seasonal word in a haiku, the small detail that anchors the whole thing. Turns out that's roughly how I think about a website too — a few decisions carry the entire impression, and the rest is restraint.
Practically, that means small projects for people who care about them: independent businesses, studios, restaurants, clinics, anyone who's been handed a template and knew it wasn't right. I take on a limited number at a time so each one gets proper attention.

Fast by default
Performance isn't a phase at the end. If a page is slow on a mid-range phone on mobile data, it isn't finished.
Built, not assembled
No page builders, no fifteen plugins holding hands. Fewer moving parts means fewer things that break in a year.
Content first
Design decisions come from real text and real images. Lorem ipsum hides every problem until launch day.
You stay in control
You own the domain, the hosting and the code. I'd rather earn the next project than lock you into this one.
